Vision Systems Technology is the Master Distributor for Vieworks cameras in North America.  The Vieworks VC-25MX2 camera features a 25 megapixel CMOS image sensor (Python 25M) running 81 FPS, with a global electronic shutter.

A feature of this camera is the image size can be reduced in the XY direction creating a Regions-Of-Interest (ROI).  Since the ROI is effectively fewer pixels, the frame rate will increase.  Some examples are a resolution of 400 x 400 will have a frame rate of 1099 FPS or a resolution of 32 x 32 which produce a frame rate of 5376 FPS.  This range of frame rate & resolution makes the VC-25MX2 a very versatile digital vision camera.  

The VC-25MX2 4.5u pixel has high MTF (111 lp/mm Nyquest sampling limit) which is not found in typical HD video rate cameras.  For surveillance or aerial applications, the VC-25MX2 CMOS sensor has no smear as found with CCDs in bright scenes.  The VC-25MX resolution when compared to an HD camera is 12.64x higher.  

The VC-25MX2 digital camera is available in either Color or monochrome and measures 80 x 80 x 101 mm in size and weighs only 630 grams.
