Vieworks VS-2MU Scientific-CMOS (GPixel Sensor) Camera (2MP)

Vieworks introduces their first Scientific-CMOS sensor.

Vieworks scientific camera, VS series uses the sCMOS image sensor, or scientific-CMOS sensor, to achieve high-quality images without compromising the speed. Its high sensitivity featured with low noise and high quantum efficiency makes VS series ideal for biometry, medical and scientific applications.

The VS-2MU is a 2-megapixel resolution Scientific-CMOS (sCMOS) camera with the USB 3.0 interface. The VS-2MU camera uses the sCMOS image sensor (GSENSE2011e) technology from Gpixel and offers up to 79.4 frames per second at 2048 x 1150 resolution. Its high sensitivity featured with low noise and high quantum efficiency makes the VS-2MU camera ideal for biometry, medical and scientific applications.

VS Series features an excellent combination of high quantum efficiency, high frame rates and high dynamic range based on the latest technology of Gpixel's GSENSE2011e sensor, which is quantum-efficiency enhanced (72.5% QE) version of the previous sensor (GSENSE2011s).
