Vieworks VT Sense Series Back Side Illuminated TDI Line Scan Cameras

The VT Sense Series (VTS) utilizes BSI (back-side illuminated) technology, resulting in enhanced quantum efficiency (QE) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). BSI sensors allow for greater sensitivity and ensure superior image quality in visible, UV, and NIR imaging. With exceptional sensitivity, VTS series demonstrates excellent performance in low-light environments.

The series also incorporates advanced TDI (Time Delayed Integration) technology, enhancing sensitivity by synchronizing signals across multiple lines in a time-delayed mode. This innovative approach boosts sensitivity and supports higher line rates of up to 543 kHz. Ideal for demanding applications such as flat panel inspection, semiconductor inspection, and scientific imaging, the VTS excels where high sensitivity is essential.

TDI line scan cameras are specifically designed for applications requiring exceptional sensitivity. Unlike standard line scan cameras, which capture data in a single scan, TDI cameras utilize multiple stages to collect signals, offering up to 256 times the sensitivity. However, conventional TDI sensors have limitations due to their traditional sensor structures.

To overcome these constraints, Vieworks has developed a groundbreaking hybrid TDI line scan sensor.
